Welcome to the photo gallery from the September 4, 2013 4-H Horse Show in Pearl River County. I grew up with horses. My first horse was RUZA - a big red Morgan/Quarter horse who was my best friend. I was 10 and she was 10. I joined 4-H and showed her in the local shows. Won a few ribbons, but mostly had fun.
When I read about the horse show I just had to go. I brought my camera to maybe drum up a little horse photo business, but mostly to have some fun and relive some of the best years of my life.
The lighting was not ideal and so the photos in the arena are a bit grainy, but I think they capture the spirit and fun of the event. I hope you will enjoy them. I apologize if I missed taking your photo. I tried to catch as many as I could.
