Long exposure is all the rave right now, so I thought I'd try it. I went up to Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Catherine where there are a lot of ruin piers from Hurricane Katrina.
I do love the effect - ghostly and cool. These were taken with a 10 stop ND filter while it was still fairly light. Then I added some lighting effects in Lightroom for dimension, since they tend to come out quite flat and bright.
